Julia Lambert's World and Theater / 11/11/2016
11 November 2016 (18:00)
On November 11, the State Academic Chapel of St. Petersburg (Moika River Embankment, 20) presents to your attention a unique gastronomic project "Music and Cooking".
We invite listeners to make an exciting journey across continents without leaving the center of St. Petersburg: to get acquainted with culture, musical traditions, taste national cuisine and immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of life in other countries.
Majestic and mysterious England awaits you on November 11, 2016. How many sounds and images it evokes! Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Westminster Abbey, novels about Sherlock Holmes and the tale of Alice in Wonderland. But first of all, the tradition of afternoon tea drinking – "five o'clock" comes to mind.
All visitors of the evening will be able to hear a story about the history of the royal tea party, see with their own eyes the unique English setting, get answers to all their questions and treat themselves to treats.
The audience will also enjoy the premiere of the musical chamber performance "Julia Lambert's World and Theater", which will feature melodies by famous English composers Purcell, Arn, and Elgar. The libretto is based on S. Maugham's novel "The Theater".
Beginning at 19.00
No age restrictions
