On November 18, the Aurora Concert Hall in St. Petersburg will host a concert by the band ANIMAL JAZZ at the request of fans!
ANIMAL JAZZ is a recognized flagship of the Russian alternative scene. Not a single major rock festival in the country is complete without their participation, from "INVASION" to KUBANA. In its almost 15-year history, the band has played on the same stage with Linkin Park, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Garbage, Rasmus, Clawfinger and Rollins Band. ANIMAL JAZZ's songs can be found on all the country's major charts, from the Chart Dozen of Nashe Radio to the Russian Ten of MTV. The list of artists with whom ANIMAL JAZZ recorded duets is equally wide – MakSim and Vladi (CASTE), Sergey Shnurov and [AMATORY]. Today, ANIMAL JAZZ, being equidistant from both traditional "Russian rock" and trendy indie trends, are the living embodiment of the success of independent music in Russia.
The past year 2015 has become a landmark year for the ANIMAL JAZZ group. The eighth studio album "Keeper of Spring", released in March 2015 with funds raised by crowdfunding in record time, took the top positions on the iTunes and Google Play charts, and the song "Here and Now" topped the country's main rock chart, the "Chart Dozen". The album "Keeper of Spring" became the best album of 2015 in the category "Russian Rock" according to iTunes Russia.
The year 2016 began triumphantly for ANIMAL JAZZ – in February they received two of the most prestigious rock awards in the country at once - for the best album and the best song according to the "Chart Dozen".
On November 18, ANIMAL JAZZ will perform at Aurora Concert Hall with a big house concert, the program of which will be composed by the fans of the team!
